NFAHS

Governance

Governance & Compliance

The institutional standards that make NFAHS investable, accountable, and durable.

Legal structure
NFAHS will operate as a regulated investment vehicle paired with a non-profit operating arm. Specific entity details, jurisdictions, and registration numbers will be published as filings complete.
Independent audit
Annual audits will be performed by an independent Big Four-tier firm. Audit opinions and management letters will be published in full.
Risk management
A standing risk register tracks operational, clinical, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks with named owners and quarterly Board review.
Conflicts of interest
All directors, officers, and senior staff are required to disclose material interests. The conflicts register is reviewed by the Audit & Risk Committee.
Data protection
Patient and contributor data is governed by African data-protection regulations, GDPR, and HIPAA-equivalent standards where applicable.
Whistleblower protection
A confidential, externally-administered channel allows employees, contributors, and partners to report concerns without retaliation.
