Governance
Governance & Compliance
The institutional standards that make NFAHS investable, accountable, and durable.
- Legal structure
- NFAHS will operate as a regulated investment vehicle paired with a non-profit operating arm. Specific entity details, jurisdictions, and registration numbers will be published as filings complete.
- Independent audit
- Annual audits will be performed by an independent Big Four-tier firm. Audit opinions and management letters will be published in full.
- Risk management
- A standing risk register tracks operational, clinical, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks with named owners and quarterly Board review.
- Conflicts of interest
- All directors, officers, and senior staff are required to disclose material interests. The conflicts register is reviewed by the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Data protection
- Patient and contributor data is governed by African data-protection regulations, GDPR, and HIPAA-equivalent standards where applicable.
- Whistleblower protection
- A confidential, externally-administered channel allows employees, contributors, and partners to report concerns without retaliation.
