Frequently Asked Questions
If your question isn't answered here, please reach out — we add new entries as questions arrive.
Is NFAHS accepting money right now?
No. We are currently collecting non-binding pledges of interest while the fund's legal and regulatory structure is finalized. We will only accept contributions once registrations and offering documents are complete.
What is the minimum pledge amount?
The intended minimum is $100 USD, designed to make participation broadly accessible to the diaspora and individual supporters.
Will contributors receive financial returns?
NFAHS is a mission-first fund. Some institutional and impact-investor tranches may include financial-return provisions; specific terms will appear in formal offering documents.
How is the money protected?
Through a regulated investment vehicle, segregated accounts, independent annual audit, an Audit & Risk Committee, and an Investment Committee that approves capital deployment against published criteria.
Where will the first hospital be built?
Site selection is in progress. The first flagship will be in a Sub-Saharan African country chosen via a published evaluation framework that weighs need, regulatory environment, partner availability, and operating context.
Can I donate instead of pledging investment?
Charitable donation channels will be opened alongside the investment vehicle. Both pathways will be available.
How can institutions partner?
Institutional partners (foundations, DFIs, healthcare operators, governments) should reach out via the Partners page or contact us directly.
Is NFAHS hiring?
Yes — clinicians, fund managers, program operators, and engineering leads. See the Careers page.
