The Fund
Risk & Returns
We take risk seriously. So should you. This is the honest catalog of what could go wrong, and how we manage it.
Clinical risk
Patient safety, quality of care, and clinical outcomes — managed via the Medical Advisory Board, accreditation, and continuous outcome reporting.
Operational risk
Construction delays, supply chain disruptions, staffing gaps, and security. Mitigated through experienced operators and contingency reserves.
Financial risk
Cost overruns, revenue shortfalls, currency exposure. Managed via diversified revenue streams, conservative projections, and reserves.
Regulatory risk
Healthcare regulation, securities regulation, and tax exposure across multiple jurisdictions. Addressed via specialized counsel in each market.
Contextual risk
Political, macroeconomic, and conflict-related risk varies by country. Site selection explicitly weighs operating-environment stability.
Reputational risk
A failure of governance, transparency, or clinical quality at any site reflects on the fund. Quality and disclosure are continuous priorities.
On returns
NFAHS is a mission-first fund. Its primary return is measurable health impact: lives reached, professionals trained, mortality reduced, systems strengthened.
For institutional and impact-investor tranches where financial return is in scope, terms will be defined in the formal offering documents. We do not guarantee returns.
